The National Grid supplies the UK at an average of 242 Volts. Under EU regulations, virtually all equipment used in businesses and at homes conforms to the ‘CE’ set at 220 volts. All voltage above this level is wasted.

Voltage Optimisation (VO) is an energy saving technology used to optimise the incoming power supply. It works by reducing the incoming voltage to a more suitable level for the electric equipment on site.
